Gregory M. Vecchi, Ph.D.

Gregory M. Vecchi, Ph.D., is the principal and chief trainer of VGI Tactics. He is a retired FBI agent, Unit Chief of the legendary FBI Behavioral Science Unit, and career hostage negotiator. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) agent. Dr. Vecchi has over 30 years of law enforcement experience and is a licensed peace officer in Missouri.

Larry Sloan

Professor Lawrence Sloan is the co-founder of the American Arnis Association (1978) and founder of the Defensive Tactics and Control Techniques (DTACT) System (1978) for law enforcement and Security. Professor Sloan was one of the first students of Professor Remy A. Presas, founder of Modern Arnis (1976-1979). Professor Sloan holds the rank of System Head (5th Dan) of the United States Kenpo Association (USKA) under Robert Trias (1985), and he was titled Kyoshi (Professor) and promoted to 7th Dan under the United Kenpo Karate Systems (UKKS).

Colton Gurley

Colton Gurley is an apprentice instructor in Contemporary Jeet Kune Do/Kali certified by Sifu Gregory M. Vecchi, Ph.D., under Rapid-Action Jeet Kune Do. Colton is a veteran who completed U.S. Army Combative Level 1 and
Mounted and Urban Combat training. He also has training in Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, and Western Boxing. Colton earned a B.S. in Kinesiology and is certified in CPR, AED, and first aid.
